Snowbabies "Waiting for Christmas" Figurine W/Box.

This is a Snowbabies "Waiting for Christmas" Figurine by Department 56. Two cute Snowbabies resting next to a big gift box present. One Snowbaby looking on while the other napping. Part of The Winter Tales of the Snowbabies series. Comes with this quote: 1) "Once Upon a Time... In a far off wintry land - Jack Frost grew lonely - And took the task to hand. He used his magic powers - And smiled when he was through. For what he'd made were Snowbabies - A joy for me and you." 2) "On tiny sleds they slide - Down icy hills they go - They laugh and sing together - As they frolic in the snow. And while they're busy playing - Throughout the frosty day - They hope the winter sunshine - Won't melt them all away." Meaurements are: 2 3/4 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide. This piece was introduced December of 1991 and it was retired December of 1993. Item no. is: #6807-1. This vintage item is collectible and it is in like new condition. In original box.
