Joe's Car by Dinky Toys. #102. This incredible vehicle was produced between 1969 and 1976 and was based on the vehicle used in Gerry Anderson's Joe 90 television series. Joe's Car features automatic opening wings, extending tail fins, a red flashing turbine driven rocket exhaust light and independent suspension. The jewelled headlights are truly exceptional. This masterpiece is powered by one triple A battery, which activates a flashing bulb, which utilizes a bi-metal strip to create the brilliant effect. This fine die cast car is painted in teal green color and comes with rubber tires. Made circa 1967. Made by Meccano Ltd. in England.
