M. I. Hummel "Sweet Music" Figurine by Goebel W/Comp Box.

This is an  M. I. Hummel "Sweet Music" Figurine by Goebel. Made in Germany between the years 1950 and 1959. Makes this item a trademark 2 / TMK 2. This figurine depicts a young boy wearing a grey hat with a green coat, brown pants and shoes. He is practicing, playing his cello and getting ready to play in the orchestra. The bottom of this rare piece shows the following: the numbers 186 and 12 embossed, Trademark 2 logo, 2 and the word Germany is stamped. Also the words M.I. Hummel is embossed on the back of the round stand. Measurements are: 5 1/4 inches tall by 2 5/8 inches wide. This vintage item is collectible and it is in gently used condition. No original box.
