This is a Ruffed Grouse by Lefton. This splendid bird was hand painted by talented artists. The ruffed grouse (Bonasa umbellus) is a medium sized grouse occurring in forests from the Appalachian Mountains across Canada to Alaska. It is non-migratory. It is the only species in the genus Bonasa. Measurements are 5 1/4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches at widest point. This item is collectible and it is in like new condition. No original box. (Box has minor wear.) Please see photos. MINT - The item is in perfect condition.
