This is an M.I. Hummel "Birthday Cake" Candle Holder Figurine by Goebel. Made in Germany in 1992. Identical pieces were made between the years 1991 and 2000. Makes this item a trademark 7 / TMK 7. This beautiful item depicts a cute girl in a dress sitting down, waiting to deliver this gift. It is a tasty looking birthday cake with a place for one candlestick to light and celebrate someone special's Joyous Birthday! Candle not included. Holds 3/8 of an inch in diameter candles. On the bottom, this is shown: 31, 338, 1956 (engraved), trademark 7 logo, artists initials and the year this was made: 92. More, the original paper shows: "Der Geburtstagskuchen / Birthday Cakke" is on the side of the platform. Measurements are: 3 3/4 nches tall by 2 7/8 inches wide. (At base.)
