Snowbabies "Wishing on a Star" Figurine W/Box.

This is a Snowbabies "Wishing On A Star" Figurine by Department 56. A sweet Snowbaby sitting on a tree stump holding a star in the right hand. He is also holding up a star with left hand, "Wishing on a Star"! Part of The Winter Tales of the Snowbabies series. Comes with this quote: 1) "Once Upon a Time... In a far off wintry land - Jack Frost grew lonely - And took the task to hand. He used his magic powers - And smiled when he was through. For what he'd made were Snowbabies - A joy for me and you." 2) "On tiny sleds they slide - Down icy hills they go - They laugh and sing together - As they frolic in the snow. And while they're busy playing - Throughout the frosty day - They hope the winter sunshine - Won't melt them all away." Meaurements are: 3 3/4 inches tall by 3 3/4 inches wide. Item no. is: 7943-0. This piece was Introduced to the public December of 1990 and it was retired December of 1994. This vintage item is collectible and it is in like new condition. In original box.
