A Painted Bunting. A beautiful vintage bisque porcelain figurine by Boehm featuring a colorful male Painted Bunting perched among white calla lilies. Hand-painted in vibrant matte colors and marked on the bottom with model #400-38. Manufactured by Edward Marshall at Boehm Studio. Made circa 1976-1980. This lovely piece is retired. Made in USA. Measurement (approx.) 10 1/4 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches deep. Overall, this is in very good vintage condition with bright colors and clean porcelain throughout, with one minor flaw: There is a small chip on the top tip of the bird's red tail feather. No other chips, cracks, or repairs detected on the flowers or foliage. This vintage amd rare item is collectible and it is in nice condition. No original box. (Comes with a complimentary box.)
